Ten new COVID cases in Allegany County; Six at NBCI

The Allegany County Health Department reports ten new cases of COVID-19 since Monday.  The new cases include six inmates at North Branch Correctional Institution (NBCI) and four community members – a male in his teens, a male in his 20s, a male in his 30s and a female in her 20s.  None of the new cases has required hospitalization.  The county’s total cumulative cases of COVID-19 now stands at 199.

    Just wait…I was @ a market today in Cumberland, no distancing, half the shoppers…no mask & with Frostburg State / AC folks coming back… Rocky Gap bussing in people…. by October this area will be hurting. I spoke of this last month, contacted numerous people…to no avail. This “NON FUN” has just begun!!!
