One of the victims of Wednesday’s London Terror attack grew up in Cumberland.
Kurt Cochran has been identified as one of the victims who died in the attack, an American citizen and current resident of Utah, who was in London celebrating his 25th Wedding Anniversary, with his wife Melissa.
Kurt either was pushed off, or jumped from, Westminster Bridge as a car driven by the terrorist mowed down pedestrians. Melissa sustained serious injuries, including a broken leg and a head trauma.
Cochran graduated from Fort Hill High School in 1980. He also attended Cresaptown Elementary School. The victim’s Facebook page has several Cumberland contacts, including Mayor Brian Grim.
