On Saturday the Cumberland Police Department responded to Queen City Drive for the report of a shoplifter. An employee had followed the suspect from the store and the officer located the suspect near North Centre Street. The stolen items were returned to the business and a criminal citation was issued to Scarlett Eva Williams, age 21 of Lonaconing, for Theft.
