At approximately noon today, Wednesday, March 14, 2012, a threatening note was discovered in a bathroom at Fort Hill High School. All students and staff are currently being evacuated to Greenway Avenue Stadium. Local law enforcement authorities are on the scene, and three bomb detecting K-9 units are en route to the school. Once the school has been cleared of any threat, students and staff will be allowed to reenter the building. If the school has not been cleared by the time students are to dismiss, they will conduct dismissal from the stadium. A status update of the situation will be sent as more information becomes available.
All evening activities at Fort Hill have been canceled in light of the ongoing search of the school.
