Three Charged With Railroad Trespassing

On Saturday, May 7, 2016 Cumberland Police Officers were called to the area of the Western Maryland Scenic railroad for a report of a female possibly in distress.

Upon their arrival they located three subjects that had been drinking alcoholic beverages. The female was not in distress. All subjects were advised to leave the area and not to trespass on railroad property.

All three subjects, Carrie Crites, Emmanuel Guerrero and Gary Smith, left the area. As they left they walked directly past a “No Trespassing” sign and onto a bridge owned by the Western Maryland scenic railroad.

All three subjects were then placed under arrest and transported to the Cumberland Police Department. They were all issued criminal citations and released pending trial in Allegany County District Court.

Charge: Trespass on Posted Property

 

Emmanuel Guerrero, 46, Cumberland, MD

Charge: Trespass on Posted Property

 

Gary L. Smith, 37, Cumberland, MD

Charge: Trespass on Posted Property
