Three city employees indicted by Grand Jury

The Office of the State’s Attorney for Allegany County, the Honorable Michael O. Twigg, State’s Attorney, announced on Thursday, March 21st, 2013 that the Grand Jury of Allegany County issued the following indictments on Wednesday, March 20th, 2013:

 

 

 

John Chapman was indicted on one count each of Theft Less than $1000 dollars and Conspiracy to Commit Theft Less than $1000.  These charges are associated with his employment with the City of Cumberland.  The case was investigated by the C3I unit and Maryland State Police.

 

Rodney Long was indicted on one count of Theft Less than $1000 dollars.  This charge is associated with his employment with the City of Cumberland.  The case was investigated by the C3I unit and Maryland State Police.

 

Troy Zembower was indicted on one count of Theft Less than $1000 dollars.  This charge is associated with his employment with the City of Cumberland.  The case was investigated by the C3I unit and Maryland State Police.

 

 

 

 

These individuals will be given trial dates in Circuit Court of Allegany County in the near future.
