Three City Residents Picked Up by Cumberland Police

On Saturday, Cumberland City Police served a bench warrant on 48 year old John Forrest Ledbetter. The warrant was issued by District Court on January 1, for a driving on a suspended license charge. 

Also on Saturday, the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on 54 year old Gregory Allen Lincoln Sr.  The warrant was issued by District Court on December 10, for a theft charge. 

Finally, City Police epartment served a body attachment on 37 year old Sommer D. Knots for failure to comply.   All three were remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center to await a hearing before a District Court Commissioner.

    Wow. I repeatedly see drug offenses, failure to appear, violation of probation, 4th degree burglaries; they get released on PR regularly. The 3 above listed have the most minor charges I have seen on WCBC, but it looks like they need remanded and get the commissioner involved.
