Three people were taken to local hospitals after a 5 AM crash on westbound Route 46 just east of Piedmont.
A volunteer working with Tri-Towns Fire and Ambulance told WCBC News that the car crashed through a guardrail and went 100 feet off the road. The three occupants made their way to a nearby home until emergency crews arrived. The injuries appeared to be non-life threatening.
Mineral County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating. Potomac Firemen also responded.
