September 24th, 2011 by WCBC Radio

After the 2PM deadline on Friday, three prospective bidders for a slots parlor at Rocky Gap submitted applications to the state gaming commission. State lawmakers approved a bill this year to attract bidders to the Rocky Gap site which has not received any applications for the slots site allowing just 1,500 machines. Lawmakers have offered a greater share of the revenue from slot machines, and also waived a $3-million license fee. Allegany Entertainment Group and Potts Gaming, Evitts Resorts LLC, and Former Maryland Democratic Party Chairman Nathan Landow all applied.
