At the start of this session of the General Assembly, Governor Larry Hogan announced a package of legislative proposals to incentivize manufacturing jobs and workforce training programs, specifically targeting parts of the state experiencing higher unemployment. While it appears to have broad support and most believe it would help those jurisdictions with struggling economies- time is running out in the session, and the general assembly has yet to take action.
