The Alabama based company that owns the Cumberland Times-News is merging.
Community Newspaper Holdings, Incorporated, is merging with Raycom Media, which owns 65 television stations and two radio stations in 20 states.
There’s no word on the impact on the local operation.
According to the CNHI website, the merger will be final on September 29th
