Just before 7 AM, a mishap involving a tractor trailer and a passenger vehicle occurred on Braddock Road at the intersection with Sunset View.
Eyewitnesses say the truck decended Sunset View Drive and made the turn to head toward Cumberland. The westbound passenger vehicle then ran into the trailer.
LaVale Volunteer Fire Department responded, and Cresaptown Ambulance was canceled when it became apparent there would be no need for medical attention.
Braddock Road was closed until 7:30 AM.
