The westbound lane of I-68 was shutdown for nearly 5 hours Monday evening due to a tractor trailer crashing through a guard rail near the Beall Street exit in Cumberland. The crash occurred at approximately 8:30PM when a tractor trailer went through a guard rail and over the embankment into a parking lot of a Smallwood Street business.
The driver was injured as a result of the accident. Cumberland Police, Cumberland Fire Department, Allegany County Hazardous Materials Team, Fire Police, SHA and Potomac Edison all responded to the scene…
