Traffic Stop Leads to CDS and Weapons Seizure

On Tuesday, Troopers from the McHenry Barrack made a traffic stop for a traffic violation.  The trooper smelled an odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle.  After searching the vehicle troopers located a baggie of prescription pills and suspected marijuana.  Hidden within the vehicle were parts for two assault rifles.   Two subjects were arrested, the driver, Renante Alisbo Mangaya, age 33, New Jersey.  The passenger,  Edwin Lee Class, age 30, New Jersey.  Both subjects were awaiting a Bond Hearing at District Court.
