On Saturday, Cumberland Police served a Criminal Summons on Anthony Vassallo, age 44 of the city.
The Criminal Summons stemmed from a March 3, 2020 incident where Vassallo was arrested for trespassing. During the incident, officers discovered some prescription pills on Vassallo’s person incident to arrest. Subsequently, an Application for Charges was submitted to District Court and charges were issued for possession of CDS not marijuana.
Vassallo was served with the Criminal Summons and released to await trial in District Court.
