On December 3rd, 2019 Officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to an East Offutt Street address for a reported stabbing. Upon officers arrival they made contact with Kyle Phillip Humbertson who would not comply with officers orders and prohibited them from entering the residence. Kyle was placed into handcuffs and entry was made to the residence. The officers then observed Keri Ann Donaldson to flee out the rear of the residence. Keri was later located. The officers then conducted their investigation and learned that no stabbing had occurred. Both Kyle and Keri were placed under arrest of obstructing and hindering an investigation. Both Keri and Kyle were remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center where both Keri and Kyle were released on their own recognizance pending trial.
