Two Change Orders Reach $700,000 Unacceptable to Council Candidate

Pointing to recent change orders on two separate projects, Cumberland resident Mark Fisher told the Mayor and City Council Tuesday night that there needs to be better planning on the part of public works and engineering.  Fisher noted that recently a $400,000 change order was made to the Memorial Hospital demolition project, and on last night’s agenda a change order in excess of $300,000 for the Baltimore Avenue improvement project was approved. A candidate for city council in November, Fisher said $700,000 in change orders for two projects is not acceptable…
