On 6-20-19 Troopers responded to the Friendsville Road in the area of Gap Run Road for a vehicle collision. Upon arriving it was learned two occupants were trapped in a single vehicle. EMS personnel and Fire Rescue assisted on medical treatment and removing the entrapped occupants.
It was learned that 21 year old Doris Jenkins of Friendsville had lost control of the vehicle and struck a sign support pole on private property. The passenger was identified as 29 year old Deanna Williamson also of Friendsville.
Assisting agency included: SHA, Garrett County EMS, Bittinger EMS, Deep Creek Volunteer Fire Department, Accident Volunteer Fire Department, MSP Crash Team.
The occupants were transported to the West Virginia/ MD Line where both were flown by Healthnet helicopter to Ruby Memorial.
