Two Keyser men arrested

A Keyser man was arrested in an alleged trespassing incident Wednesday and a Romney man was taken into custody on a warrant from Allegany County, according to the Keyser Police Department. The Cumberland Times News reports at 8:23 p.m, Keyser Police checked a complaint of tampering with a vehicle at a Keyser Housing Authority parking lot on Virginia Street.

Police contacted Joshua Dale Smith, 26, of Keyser, who reportedly became disorderly with officers and resisted arrest. 

Smith was arrested on charges of public intoxication, trespassing, resisting arrest and obstructing a police officer.

Smith remained jailed Thursday at the Potomac Highlands Regional Jail in Augusta awaiting a bond hearing before a Mineral County magistrate.

 

Two hours later, Keyser Police arrested Austin Michael Harrison, 19, of Romney when he was located at a Ridge Street residence.
