There are two Republicans competing for the House of Delegates seat in District 1C, currently held by Leroy Myers, who is retiring. One of the candidates is Allegany County Commissioner Mike McKay, who says that his experience will help him deal with the variety of issues that will come up in Annapolis.
Ray Givens of Hancock is also seeking the House of Delegates seat, and he says that after retiring from the military he has acquired many experiences.
