U.S. Justice Department Preparing To File Criminal Charges Against Edward Snowden

The U.S. Justice Department is preparing to file criminal charges against Edward Snowden, the man who confessed to leaking top secret documents on the National Security Agency's vast surveillance programs, according to two law enforcement officials.  The sources said the U.S. government is trying to act quickly to set in motion the machinery to bring Snowden back home. A former Maryland resident, Snowden went to Crofton Woods Elementary School and Crofton Middle School. He then spent the 1997-98 school years and the first semester of the 1998-99 school years at Arundel High before leaving our system, according to school officials from Anne Arundel County Public Schools. Despite having not graduated high school or attended any college, Snowden was hired by the NSA and the CIA and had access to highly classified, top secret documents.
