The University of Maryland has announced an end to its affiliation with a Chinese language immersion program.  At Thursday night’s PACE reception in Annapolis, school board member Tammy Fraley said that decision should have no impact on the Chinese immersion program in Allegany County schools.

Fellow board member Deb Frank had another proposal for elementary students.
