Frankfort has an interim head football coach in Craig Scott. Former head coach Kevin Whiteman had not been reinstated by the Mineral County School Board even after being cleared by a grand jury involving misconduct with a student. According to sources close to the situation, the state board has decided to review the investigation; further delaying Whiteman's reinstatement. Scott, named the interim head coach this week, was a defensive coordinator for the Falcons until last year.
