On September 23, 2014, a U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force located and arrested Louis Harris Jr aka Louie 39, on the 100 block of South Allegany Street, Cumberland, Maryland..
The Marshals Service’s Mountain State Fugitive Task Force (MSFTF) was referred a warrant for Louis Harris Jr. charging him with Attempted Murder by the West Virginia State Police for apprehension.
The charges stemmed from a bar fight at My Place in Ridgley, West Virginia on December 14, 2013 where Harris Jr. and Dominique Weeden chased the victim out of the bar. Louis Harris Jr. was captured on the bars video surveillance system stabbing the victim multiple times.
Task Force officers set up surveillance on an address located on South Allegany Street related to Louis Harris Jr. Harris was observed by officers leaving the residence and was taken into custody in the front yard without incident.
