August 18th, 2015 by WCBC Radio

A Winchester, Va., man was arrested late Monday night at a South Main Street residence after Keyser Police were notified that he was wanted on two fugitive warrants from Virginia. It was just before 10 p.m., when the Frederick County (Va.) Sheriff’s Department notified Keyser Police that Jacob Daniel Woodward, 19, was wanted there on two fugitive warrants. Keyser Police were also told that it was believed that Woodward could be located at a Keyser residence. Keyser Police responded to the second block of South Main where they located Woodward, who was then served two fugitive warrants. The warrants, issued in Frederick County, Va., on Aug. 5, 2015, charge Woodward with grand larceny and nighttime burglary. Following the arrest, Woodward was taken to the Potomac Highlands Regional Jail in Augusta where he remained in custody late Tuesday morning, pending extradition proceedings to return him to Frederick County.
