Democratic US Senate Candidate Chris Van Hollen spent Friday evening meeting with local residents and Allegany County Democratic Party officials on the Downtown Cumberland Mall.
His Saturday schedule included two stops in Grantsville, before returning to Cumberland for a small business symposium and a meeting with Frostburg officials.
Van Hollen spoke with WCBC News during his visit, commenting on the recent terror attack in Nice, France, his ideas on local economic development, and on combating the opioid addiction problems.
