Allegany County 911 sent 10 companies to a fire that was reported Saturday morning at the former Warner's German Restaurant in Cresaptown.
The fire was located in the back of the building, and the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating. Flames were showing from the upper part of the structure as units arrived.
The call came in around 9:30 AM and units were on the scene for about two hours.
Traffic on US 220 in the area of the blaze was diverted while fire companies worked on the fire.
