Warrant Arrest On June 7, 2017 the Cumberland Police served a Circuit Court warrant for Violation of Probation on Gary Wayne Shriver, Jr. Shriver was held without bond and taken to the Allegany County Detention Center to await his next appearance in Circuit Court. Warrant Arrest On June 7, 2017 the Cumberland Police served a warrant on Thomas Turell Hartung. The warrant stems from an incident the Cumberland Police investigated beginning on June 1, 2017. During that incident police learned Hartung had stolen a male victim’s debit card and used it without permission on several occasions. It was also learned Hartung had stolen the victim’s handgun and sold it for cash. During the investigation witnesses were interviewed and evidence was collected. Hartung was taken before a District Court Commissioner where he was held on $12,000. He was taken to the Allegany County Detention Center to await his next appearance in District Court. Warrant Arrest On June 7, 2017 the Cumberland Police served an arrest warrant on Sharakee Marie Court for 1st Degree Assault and 2nd Degree Assault. The charges stem from an incident Cumberland police investigated on June 1, 2017 in the 300 block of Helen Street. Police learned Court and an adult male were involved in a verbal argument. During the argument the male turned around to gather some of his belongings. While his back was turned he heard Court say she was getting a gun. He turned around and Court was pointing the gun at him. The male was able to wrestle the gun from Court and he then left the residence. Court was taken before a District Court Commissioner where she was held on $20,000. She was taken to the Allegany County Detention Center to await her next appearance in District Court. The male victim did not sustain any injuries during the incident. Arrested: Sharakee Marie Court, age: 35, Cumberland, MD Charges: 1st Degree Assault and 2nd Degree Assault

Assault Arrest On June 6, 2017 the Cumberland Police responded to a business on Queen City Drive for a disturbance. Police learned Lenzlea Fairfax Mosby III and an adult male subject were involved in an argument inside the business. The male subject then exited the business and was followed by Mosby. Another verbal argument occurred between Mosby and the male subject. Mosby then pulled out a knife and began swinging it at the male victim while making threats to him. The male victim was able to get away and the police arrived. During the investigation witnesses were interviewed, evidence was collected, and videos were observed. Mosby was arrested for his actions during the incident. As he was placed under arrest he began yelling and threatening officers. Mosby was taken before a District Court Commissioner where he was held on a bond of $7500. He was taken to the Allegany County Detention Center to await his next appearance in District Court. The male victim did not sustain any injuries during the incident. Warrant Arrest On June 7, 2017 the Cumberland Police served an arrest warrant on Leigh Danielle Williams for 2nd Degree Assault. At approximately 7:09 PM police responded to a residence in the 900 block of Lexington Avenue for an assault. When police arrived they learned Williams was at the adult female victim’s residence and the two were talking. For an unknown reason Williams began to assault the female victim with a needle. Williams was taken to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center for treatment of a medical issue. Police filed charges and obtained a warrant for Williams. Williams was later arrested on the warrant. Williams was taken before a District Court Commissioner and held on $2500 bond and taken to the Allegany County Detention Center to await the next appearance in District Court. The female victim did not require medical treatment. Arrested: Leigh Danielle Williams, age: 36, Cumberland, MD Charges: 2nd Degree Assault
