West Virginia Gets Grants for Under-Performing Schools

West Virginia is receiving $3.3 million in federal grants aimed at raising achievement in the lowest-performing schools. The funding was announced Thursday through the U.S. Department of Education's School Improvement Grants program. West Virginia has received $28.5 million since the grant program was redesigned in 2009
