West Virginia Police Busy with Meth Labs

West Virginia law enforcement agencies have seized 200 methamphetamine labs so far this year, a pace expected to break last year's record high. Police authorities shut down 288 meth labs in West Virginia in 2012, according to West Virginia State Police records. Already this year, police officials are on pace to seize about 570 labs. Since the first of January, officers have discovered labs at a rate of 1.5 per day, double the number last year.
