Veterans Memorial Hwy (Rt 7) is closed in both directions, at Delano's Furniture near Hopemont State Hospital due to a vehicle accident. The WV State Police have advised that the road will be closed for at least one to two hours. If traveling from Maryland you can take the Alpine Lake Rd to the Cranesville Rd turn left to go back into Terra Alta. If traveling from the Terra Alta side, take the Cranesville Rd., turn right on the Alpine Lake Rd back to Rt. 7 turn left to go to Maryland.
