The Whiskey Rebellion Festival begins on Friday, June 9. From 6:00-11:00 p.m., enjoy tastings
of whiskey and other spirits from a dozen high-end distillers, including Maker’s Mark, at the
Allegany Museum. The event offers live music, historic re-enactments, a colonial ‘pub’ room with
authentic colonial games, and an exhibition of historic whiskey bottles, jugs, and ephemera. Get
your picture taken with “President Washington!” Then, enjoy the canapés and presentations of
cigar/whiskey pairings. Tickets are $50 if purchased in advance and $75 at the door.
