The National Weather Service has released a forecast of water levels in Wills Creek which keeps water levels below flood stage.
Wills Creek crested in Ellerslie at 7.58 feet this morning. A crest in Cumberland of 7.8 feet was anticipated to be reached around noon Friday, but the level started falling at 11 AM.
Wills Creek exceeds its banks at about 9 feet. Flood stages is considered to be 10 feet, with moderate flooding at 12 feet.
