Wind Chill Advisory Continues Around Maryland

January 23rd, 2013 by WCBC Radio

The coldest weather this winter and perhaps one of the coldest outbreaks in several years has arrived in Maryland.  Daytime temperatures will be well below the freezing point and, with the wind, will feel like the teens or single digits on the skin.  There is a wind chill advisory posted in western Maryland through today. Some forecasts are predicting a few inches of snow on Friday. Allegany County Health Officer Dr Sue Raver says that if at all possible you should try to stay indoors and out of the elements, but if you must be outside, it’s important to dress for the conditions.
