A significant winter storm is forecast for Western Maryland this weekend, with a mixture of snow, sleet, freezing rain and ice all a part of the mix. Snow accumulation could be 2 to 4 inches with some ice build up as well which could make travel dangerous and lead to downed power lines. The winter storm is expected late Saturday afternoon with predictions being that it will continue through much of Sunday.
