Winter Weather Advisory through Wednesday night

WHAT…Snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches expected. West to northwest winds will gust as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE…In Maryland, Extreme Western Allegany County. In Virginia, Western Highland County. In West Virginia, Western Mineral County.

* WHEN…Late tonight through Wednesday evening. Additional snow is likely late Wednesday night.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Travel may be difficult due to snow covered and slippery roads. The combination of snow and blowing snow will reduce visibility below one-half mile at times. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches and create power outages.

* AFFECTED AREAS: WESTERN MINERAL … WESTERN HIGHLAND … EXTREME WESTERN ALLEGANY
