Wisp Resort is still in wait and see mode, noting a dusting of snow hit Garrett County Thursday morning, but that's not enough to set a date for opening the slopes. Colder weather will allow snow making, but daytime temps in the 40s are not the best for that scenario. To the south, Canaan Valley in Tucker County has set an opening date of December 18th.
