August 14th, 2019 by WCBC Radio

On August 13, 2019 officers from the Cumberland City Police Department responded to Jane Frazier Village for a report of an assault in progress.  Once officers arrived they found Christina Miller standing on the sidewalk near building #9 holding an open container of vodka.  Officers contacted Miller and told her to discard the bottle of vodka.  Miller began yelling at the officers and failed to put the bottle down.  Officers were able to take the bottle from Miller at which time she reached out and tried to grab one of the officers.  Miller was advised to lower her voice or she would be subject to an arrest.  Miller failed to obey the officers orders reached out and grabbed the officer by the arm and started yelling.  As the officer removed Millers hands she grabbed the officer again by his vest.  Miller was advised that she was under arrest.  Miller failed to comply with the officers and resisted their arrest.  Miller fought with the officers on the ground until she was secured in cuffs.  Miller was transported to the Cumberland City Police Department for processing.  Miller was processed, served and taken before the District Court Commissioner.

Arrested: Christina Ann Miller                                              Age: 39 of Cumberland, Maryland
