On Saturday, December 14, 2019, the Cumberland Police were called to a business on Industrial Blvd, Cumberland, Maryland for an assault.
When officers arrived they observed a male victim had sustained minor injuries from a physical altercation. Officers investigating the incident learned that there was a verbal argument between the male and Susan Morris, age 25 of Cumberland. The argument escalated and Morris assaulted the male victim. Subsequently, Morris was arrested and charged with 2nd degree assault.
Morris was later taken to District Court for her Initial Appearance and released on her own recognizance.
