One woman was severely injured in a single vehicle crash on eastbound Interstate 68 near the 53 mile marker on Martin's Mountain Saturday afternoon.
Maryland State Troopers say the woman was flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore via Trooper Five after the 3 PM mishap, which also shutdown the highway for over two hours for response and investigation.
Allegany County 911 dispatched police, fire and EMS to westbound Interstate 68 near the 47 mile marker Saturday afternoon at around 3:15 PM.
According to reports, it involved a single vehicle rollover and no serious injuries. The mishap occurred at about the same time as a more involved crash on Martin's Mountain and police are investigating.
