Problems associated with narcotics continue to plague the region. West Virginia Second District Congressman Alex Mooney was recently informed that a county in the nearby panhandle has been approved for additional funding to fight the battle:
Allegany County Sheriff Craig Robertson recently held an informational hearing on the problem with opiods in Midland, and has plans to hold additional community hearings in the near future.
