WV Governor Announces Counties To Join Project Aimed At Tackling Drug Use Problem

West Virginia Governor Jim Justice announced this month that Berkeley and Jefferson counties are joining a pilot project aimed at tackling the community’s drug use problem. Justice said that those two counties are in the top 10 when it comes to the highest rate of fatal drug overdoses in the state- adding that  West Virginia communities need solutions, and this initiative will help  determine what works so that a model can be developed that can be replicated across the state. The pilot project joins a similar initiative launched in February 2018 in Wyoming County in southern West Virginia…
