Sad news from Marshall County in the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia, where a 21 year old miner died in a mining accident.
Raymond Leonard Starkey, Junior, was fatally injured late Monday afternoon while helping to repair a belt line at Murray Energy's Marshall County Coal Company Mine.
The investigation by MSHA and the state is underway.
