WVU Named Top Party School in the Nation

Far from a point of pride of the faculty and administration- Newsweek's annual college rankings named West Virginia University as the nation's top party school in the nation. The Newsweek & The Daily Beast College Rankings 2012, based on statistics and interviews with students indicated that WVU was picked as the top party school based on undergraduate enrollment, disciplinary actions for drugs and alcohol, party-related arrests and the Princeton Review Party School and Beer Drinking rank.  To College and University Presidents across the nation however this is no laughing matter. Frostburg State University President Dr Jonathan Gibralter, a member of the Alcohol Abuse Task Force, has earned a national reputation for being against high risk drinking.  He tells WCBC News that while many efforts are taking place on campus to address the growing problem- it has proven to be a challenge…
