West Virginia University could see some serious buget slimming. State finances are going to shrink, and WVU has been asked to plan for a 7.5 percent budget cut. University President Jim Clements said that translates to about $12 million. According to WVU numbers, enrollment is strong and tentative figures show it’s higher than last year.
