A 4-year-old boy died Thursday morning of injuries sustained in a single-vehicle accident on Green Glade Road. According to the Garrett County Sheriff's Office, a 2013 Dodge passenger car operated by Brittany McDaniel, 21, of Jennings traveled off the shoulder of the roadway and struck a tree. The accident happened about 9:30 a.m. McDaniel and two children were transported to Garrett Memorial Hospital, where the boy died, according to the sheriff's office. The severity of injury sustained by McDaniel and the other child was unclear.
