Hogan Sits Down with Fox News

In his first national sit-down television interview, which aired Sunday, Maryland Governor Larry Hogan said that he knew he would face obstacles as a Republican governing a solidly blue state but that he never could have imagined that cancer was going to be one of them. Hogan, who was named the “Power Player of the Week” on “Fox News Sunday” with Chris Wallace, shared details about his battle with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma and his recovery. The interview, which was taped at the State House earlier this month, aired less than a week after the governor announced that he is in remission. Medical scans found no trace of cancer in Hogan’s body after five months of aggressive treatment. The governor told Fox News that he has learned a lot about himself during the five months…
