PE Announces Planned Outage For Mineral & Grant Counties For Monday

Potomac Edison has scheduled an electric service interruption for the Ridgeville, Antioch and Martin areas in Mineral and Grant Counties, West Virginia on Monday, Nov. 30. Potomac Edison regrets the inconvenience, but the work to upgrade our facilities is necessary to ensure service reliability in the area.

The outage will occur from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., allowing crews to safely replace wires, poles, cross arms and insulators along Cutoff Road between Route 220 and Route 50.

The outage will affect approximately 970 customers in the following areas:

Cutoff Road, Hooker Hollow, Hershey Hollow, Route 50, Knobley Road, Double Cribbs Road, Parrill Hollow, Tucker Ridge Road, Ed Welch Road, Harnes Run Road, Poplar School Road, Martin Road, Bell Babb Lane, and Whitetail and Nancy Hank subdivisions.

Potomac Edison will attempt to contact affected customers by phone prior to the outage.

The outage will be rescheduled for the same time on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015 in case of inclement weather.
