On July 26, 2014 the Cumberland City Police served a Criminal Summons on Jeremy S. Combs, Age 30, of Cumberland, MD. The Criminal Summons stemmed from a July 24, 2014 incident when officers responded to a residence for a Domestic Assault complaint. When officers arrived they spoke with the victim who explained that she was assaulted by Combs. Officers observed minor injuries to the victim but were unable to locate Combs. An Application for Charges was submitted to District Court by the Cumberland Police, and a Criminal Summons was issued charging Combs with 2nd Degree Assault. Combs was served with the Summons and released pending trial in District Court.
