Arrest Warrant Served
On Monday, November 23rd, 2015 the Cumberland City Police served an arrest warrant on Donte Ammon Vanpelt. The warrant was issued as the result of an incident that took place back on November, 17th, 2015, at a residence on Woodside Avenue. According to officers, Vanpelt was suspected of assaulting another member of the household therefore, an application was made with the District Court for criminal charges. Vanpelt was taken before the District Court Commissioner then remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center in lieu of $3,000 bond.

Charge: Second degree assault
Bench Warrant Served
On Monday, November 23rd, 2015 the Cumberland City Police served a bench warrant on Levi Wilson Norris Jr. for failure to pay court cost at the District Court of Allegany County. Norris was taken before the District Court Commissioner and was release after posting a $100 bond.
Levi Wilson Norris Jr, age 36 of Cumberland.
Charge: Fail to pay court cost
Released after posting bond.
